Ratings and reviews

This app is great! But since greatness is relative I will explain why I love it. This is ideal for people who still like digitizing their own music collection and want a slick, simple, free, and Ad-free listening experience on their mobile phone. The ux is good and clean. Does a good job of automatically finding album artwork. Has options for sorting by album, artist, etc. Negatives? No EQ functions without buying premium and I had to manually edit song data for a few misplaced album tracks.

Edit: This app continuously stops playing music. Sometimes it continues to play but mutes the music. When troubleshooting either problem, naturally you press pause/play button. All that does is frustrate you because neither function works. At times, I have to restart the phone. 11/1/2021: I had to find an app to replace Google Music because I absolutely will not be subscribing to YouTube Music. I am thoroughly impressed with Omnia Music Player and have no complaints. It's exactly what I needed.

Decent player app. One of the few that supports browsing by album artist, but unfortunately does not pull in other albums containing tracks by the same artist like Google Music did/does. Takes too many taps to get to the play queue to clear it. Seems like shuffle gets randomly turned on (or is very easy to accidentally turn on), which scrambles the queue; and, while turning it off does group songs by album (how I add tracks), the tracks remain scrambled, just grouped by album. So frustrating.
