UPDATE: As promised, changing my rating to 5* because the background issue is fixed and the metronome works perfectly now! Also the tip they provided to keep the screen awake was very helpful in the interim. Thanks again! ORIGINAL: Will change rating to 5 stars after the background bug is fixed. For now, I have Google Maps navigating somewhere with alerts off. This keeps the screen alive. But you MUST keep the Metronome App in the foreground as well...

Hi Matt, in Settings -> App settings there should be something called "Screen always on" that will do the job without Google Maps. Both of our Android engineers are urgently working on the background fix.

This is the third update in a month. App still will not connect to watch. Even tried clearing all cache and data, uninstalling and reinstalling.. Update: Last update fixed the connectivity for the watch to my phone. App still has some glitches. Tech support is good at responding back. They are aware of issues. Watch works well with app for it's intended purpose which is to keep time

Bug with interval still exists more than 7 months in. It seems like it treats the subdivisions as individual beats in a bar. For example, if I have +5 bpm every 4 bars in 4/4 then after the app beats 16 times then it will increase the interval. This becomes an issue when you use subdivisions instead of straight quarter notes. In this example, if I subdivide to 16th notes, in 1 bar the interval will increase (4 beats in a 4/4 bar * 4 sixteenth notes per beat = 16 beats). Downbeats also triggers.

Hi Elton, thank you, this was missed by our team after I reported it and not reported by anyone else since. I just pinged them again to try to reproduce this and if so fix it ASAP. Sorry it has not been fixed.
