Technically, the app works but you can only find limited recent stories arranged by date. At times, there are several news headline categories IF the you can find the categories in setting. Sometimes, the categories can be found in settings but like today, it's nonexistent. My biggest complaint is the lack of being able to search the data base for specific stories previously posted or even a general word search.

The Local is a fantastic resource on a variety of important topics, especially for these considering a move. They cover several different countries. The articles are well written and very timely with whatever is the current social climate.

I plan to move to Sweden in a couple of years. I love The Local! It educates me in Swedish culture and language as well as provides me with all of the current events. I am able to have intelligent conversations with my friends in Sweden about the news of the day. Sweden is beautiful and so is The Local ❤️
