Our Psychology app adheres to the scope and sequence of most introductory psychology courses nationwide. We strive to make psychology, as a discipline, interesting and accessible to students. A comprehensive coverage of core concepts is grounded in both classic studies and current and emerging research, including coverage of the DSM-5 in discussions of psychological disorders.

We have incorporated features and discussions that reflect the diversity within the discipline, as well as the diversity of communities across the globe, with attention to cultural competence. We include research and examples that seek to represent and include the various sociocultural backgrounds of the many students who take this course. The result is a app that covers the breadth of psychology topics with variety and depth that promote student engagement. The organization and pedagogical features were developed and vetted with feedback from psychology educators dedicated to the project.

Ratings and reviews

So I read a lot of the reviews on this before deciding to bite the bullet. A lot of the reviews looked like paid reviews and many previous reviews talked about monthly fees and/or excessive adverts. I've just completed chapter one which was very informative and had a total of two actual pop up ads which could be closed immediately, so not distracting at all from learning and thus far, I haven't been asked to sign up for any premium service. I would say so far this is very promising!

- 1 star: Incorrect description of amplitude. - 1 star: Pricing:content ratio. Compared to alternate online resources the app is simple to use and understand, but considering its pricing, you receive less quantity and quality of information here than is freely and amply available elsewhere online — most clearly recognizable in the free version. If you pay for this app you are paying for its convenience and accessibility, but regarding its comprehensiveness, there are constraining limitations.

This app would be cool if it weren't for the monthly payment of like $7-$8 a month. I get it, you gotta make money, but why not just make it a one time payment of whatever instead of a perpetual monthly payment until you cancel it or don't need it anymore? Shameeee
