If you can think of it, Tasker can probably do it for you!
Note: root is NOT (I repeat NOT) required for majority of the functions. However, a few of the actions (like the Kill App and Mobile Data action on some devices) require root. This is because of Android security policies that developers cannot work around.

If you set it up to do so, Tasker can automatically backup your files to a specific folder on the device, SD card, USB key or even Google Drive! This is useful if you want to keep your files safe even if you lose your phone.

It's not possible to fix problems reported via Play Store Comments so please use the "Report Issue To Developer" option in the app > Menu to do so.

Note 1: Tasker uses the BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN permission in order to provide the System Lock functionality

Note 2: Tasker uses an accessibility service for some of its features like closing the notification tray, checking which app is currently opened and more.

Hi, why does Tasker turn off my Bedtime mode? 3 stars because I still haven't figured out exactly how to use it or why it doesn't always work. Upd: I sent an email to support. Thanks! Upd2: I figured it and I just had to add an exit task to reset my volume back to normal after it is done. There are tons of helpful videos on YouTube. I also added a "not do not disturb" clause so it doesn't interfere with it. The app is the best for developers! It's a smartphone not a dumbphone.

I was looking for an app I loved and used for years on other phones. Phone Schedule. All I needed is to adjust ringer & notification volumes at night, and maybe a few locations based tasks. Tasker is great and very versatile, but not as easy as I was hoping. I consider myself a power user, but this is way more than I want. I'm disappointed there wasn't a trial period, I regret I bought it. I see the value of this app, but it's not for me. If it did what "Phone Schedule" did, I' be happy.

Tasker is a MUST HAVE for anyone wanting to take more control over their phone. I have a handful of tasks setup and they are so helpful. I have one that silences the phone during the time I have any meeting or appointment set on my Google calendar. I never have to worry about my phone ringing in a meeting or doctors office. I also set the volume depending on what WiFi I am connected to so it is not loud at work. Those are just small examples of what this can do. Worth learning!
