Awesome privacy focused messaging app. Would love to see scheduled messages be added on the future. Love the stickers and the fact you can add your own is a great idea. Desktop companion app is well made and stays up to date. Edit: There is now scheduled messages! Here is hoping that a message editing system is added. Edit 2: Editing was added to message. I would recommend this app to use daily messaging not just because of the privacy but for the extra chat functionality.

I really like this app and have many good things to say, but since I'm limited to 500 characters, I'll stick to what they should fix. The new version has an animation of a lock unlocking and turning that takes a few seconds before you can actually see your messages. We text because it's quick and convenient and that animation makes texting slower and inconvenient. I'd like to see them get rid of that.

I love this app and I'm happy to donate monthly to keep it free, and safe for ALL users. This is an amazing platform. I only wish I was able to recover things which were deleted accidentally. 🤦🏻 I'd rather have a monthly email of my messages that I can keep safe/secure, but that's probably just me. Also, current update has a voice note glitch, so it deletes the entire message before you send it. It's extremely frustrating. I'm hoping it'll improve quickly.

What's new

Chat folders let you organize your organizations, group your groups, and individualize your individuals into unique folders that are easy to customize and rearrange. Set up folders to quickly display unread messages from your favorite people, filter by chat type (1-on-1 and groups), or create separate folders like "Personal" and "Work" so you can clock what's happening right after you clock out.

Try chat folders today in Settings > Chats or simply long-press on any chat in the chat list.
