The ability to listen to the latest news has disappeared. The tab is there, but no news.

The player doesn't remember where I left an episode and tends to start over from the beginning. The search history is inaccurate. Horrible app.

Playing the news over Chromecast has been broken for years now. Randomly skips clips in the queue, sometimes in the middle of a clip. Recently also developed a fun ghost mode where if you pause playback on the Chromecast, it will start playing a random clip again unprompted a few minutes later. Hard to believe this is a national broadcaster's official app.

What’s new

In this update, we’ve added the option to set a default choice for playing programs that offer audio with or without music. You can clear your selection on each program’s page. In addition, we’ve made minor design changes to the kids’ page to improve the user experience.
