For the price I paid for this mower, I am pretty disappointed in both the mower and the app. The app is useless when the IMow goes offline, which is does quite often. The app is extremely limited as well compared to other robotics apps, such as the IRobot vacuum apps. On top of that, I have to go through a dealer for everything instead of being able to work with Stihl directly on issues. At this point I'm strongly considering returning the mower and trying out the Husqvarna.

Good hardware. Poor software. Machine is built like a tank and is still the only one to use a proper mowing blade. Also like having a local, real, person that can be called for problems or service. However, the app is an insult to Stihl's name and reputation. Insanely limited. Nothing "smart" about the mower at all. I would need a thousand lines to list it the low hanging fruit on the software side that would make this do much better... But Stihl provides no legit feedback mechanism.

The app works as advertised, but only provides basic information. Things that could be improved: Allow me to view hours mowed per day. When starting the mower from the (map) app, give me an indication it's working.
