Kana app is designed for beginners learning Japanese.It is used to help Japanese beginners quickly master the pronunciation and writing of the Katakana and Hiragana, and to lay the foundation for further study of Japanese.

This app isn't bad, it could definitely use some improvements. The app is pretty simple and easy to use, it teaches you the correct way to write each character. The only issue I have is the quiz only goes over matching the hiragana characters to their katakana versions. The quizzes don't test your writing ability. In fact, there is no writing practice. You can only watch the characters being written.

this app isn't the most useful if you're starting from 0, but it works great for revision or memorisation of the characters you've already learned. the ads are a bit annoying, but once you get past it, you can do the exercises an unlimited amount of times (untill you accidentally click off the exercise and you have to rewarch the ad) its pretty easy to navigate the layout, so thats a plus 🫰

Firstly, the app has a very nice layout/format. +⭐⭐ It includes single learn,practice, quiz and game options, of which the game is my most favourite. +⭐ They all have settings, so you can adjust what you will get. + ⭐⭐ However, the "learn" option is more like memorization by yourself and then practice, and isn't the best study method out there. -⭐Moreover, there are frequent ads. ( Needed, but inconvenient.) - ⭐ In summary,not bad.I suggest using the app only after learning kana, to practice.
