spends forever looking for a device *IF* it even finds the remote or antenna, and doesn't tell you multiple times it can't connect. constantly kicks you out and completely resets the app so you have to log back in and mess around pairing it to the system and remote to set it all back up again. refuses to actually perform commands when it finally connects, and now the app won't even open anymore, it just immediately crashes. tried new phone + remote, reinstalling ect. 4 years of issues, I'm done.

I've had this app for a few years now, and it worked fine. But yesterday, I went to go start my truck, and the app wouldn't come up on my phone. I tried restarting my phone twice. That didn't work ! I even uninstalled, then reinstalled the app. I saw that it was updated to a newer version. But that didn't work ! Every time I tap the icon, it flips to the car screen. But then it flips right back to my apps. The SmartControl app just won't open up. What is going on ? Why won't it work now ?

new update came out and now the app doesn't work at all. it crashes. now it just opens and closes right away. The issue has been addressed and fast. Works like before. Appreciate the fix guys.
