Ratings and reviews

This app would be great if it worked consistently. Now it won't give me any information on my smoker, even though it says it's connected! Keeps telling me to press the power button on my device to enable the remote. Should always be enabled! Wish there were a few more customizations, too. Like what alerts I want, or maybe tell me when it's not at its setting, rather than telling me numerous times that it is. Update: now it won't even say it's connected!

App is trash... My 800 worked perfectly with the Classic app, but have never been able to get this junk software to work with it. Same issues as other reviewers: able to load the app, see my device, and received intermittent (and incorrect, in many cases) notifications, but completely unable to get the device view to load up in the app with it acting like it is perpetually loading. Attempted to contact support as noted in a few vendor feedback posts and no help there. Classic still works fine.

This app is definitely usable but not user friendly. It spams me with "target temp reached" notifications literally every 5 mins or so. It doesn't update on it's own meaning if I open the app, check time, temps, whatever then close the app it won't update any of these values when I open it again as it was minimized but not retrieving new info. I have to manually force close the app and restart it for it to update. It also loses the history temp chart but will randomly come back later on?
