Ratings and reviews

The app is super easy to use, fast and smooth. Just scan the barcode and it'll say yes or no pretty quickly. It's made it so much easier to know I'm getting the right products when shopping. Any reviews claiming the app makes phone calls or does other weird stuff are just making that up to discourage people from using the app. It doesn't do any of that - if it did, they'd have evidence and it would have been removed from the app store.

It's good to look at reviews but many don't make sense for what the app does. Ppl don't like the boycott so they post weird reviews. Here's the facts. App adds new products often but doesn't require updates to do so. Search function works well. Barcode works mostly (good for independ. app). When I downloaded app I was not asked to enable weird permissions or any permissions other than camera, which is for the barcode reader. Doesn't drain battery or data. No ads. I recommend. It's really helpful

Makes deciding what to purchase super easy. Allows for you to add products to the list with supporting evidence if you see an item you'd like to add. I've had trouble with the scanner only when the app needs to be updated. Once update goes through works smoothly. No ads. Only permission is for the camera.
