The game is great and just like I remember it. I tried a couple other Phoenix games that were bundled with other games. Let me tell you, they sucked! Just play it and enjoy yourself. You will get used to the controls if you play, it's that simple (PRACTICE). You're not standing in front of the actual arcade machine. The buttons and joystick will be missed but just for a while. Someone that grew up playing and liking this game should give at least 4 stars. Great job dev!

Great rendition. However, although this is the arcade version, it would still be nice to have a pause button. And then when you unpause, give a three second delay depending if you black out the screen or not, so going back to the action will not be so jarring. Also allow for different placement of buttons altogether. I find the barrier and the fire button too close together. We should be able to adjust that to our liking.

This is a SPOT-ON version of Phoenix, a 1980's classic which is SOOO much better than most other shootem up games. Graphics look the same,👍plays nice and smooth as well, user-friendly, plus I like the continue feature. It would be great to see you do some other classic retro games of yester-year. Maybe Gyrus or Xevious 🤔, for the effort you have put in to this game Phoenix I give you a big thumbs up from me for sure.👍🤠👍
