Ratings and reviews

Only just starting. The lessons are good but lack any direct translation to English(edit, no direct translation of vouls and constinants in the initial/first stages, yes it gives English when forming phrases, but other apps are better at teaching the construct of words), so I don't know what I am learning (yet!)(and ultimately Google's scan to translate works really well so early lessons are irrelevant now. Increased review to 4 star but lacks the very basics so no 5 star.

I think the app is great for reviews and learning but if you just started learning Japanese I don't think you should learn romaji cause you get a co-dependency to it and the app uses romaji on the other hand I like how you have to do each lesson one at a time to be able to learn so you can properly grasp it .

Decent app but some super common words (eg 聞く) are written in hirigana where some words which irl are usually written only in kana (eg きれいな) are taught in kanji, so while this app is good for learning, what it teaches may not have much use in the real world
