Rating it a 3 bc I installed it on my tablet and was able to do the PD measurements but was unable to do the other exam bc the app wasn't compatible with my tablet. I downloaded it to my phone and the screen wasn't big enough. So being fair, it wasn't totally useless/useful. I'm sure I can find some other app out there to measure both and that is compatible with my tablet. If not, I guess I go pay for an exam 🤷‍♀️

To figure out the size of your screen it asks you to please a magnetic card in the center of 6 dots in the shape of a rectangle. Unfortunately, it appears the scanner is unable to recognize when all six dots are visible on the screen no matter how much are insured the dots were in the scan area, it's still thought they weren't. Thus I was unable to find out my prescription. Don't waste your time with this app

Seems like your device had some focus problems which are affected by lighting conditions and how clean your camera lenses and glasses are. Also please make sure that you can see the dots clearly through your device's camera. We would recommend performing the scan in a well lit room with no bright backlights or screen reflections.

I just got this for the PD measurement since it wasn't on my prescription and I needed to order glasses. I did the whole thing just for fun and was super skeptical that it would actually be able to measure my prescription itself. It was almost perfect. I have a very mild astigmatism in my left eye, and it was just off on the axis by 2. Everything else was an exact match. If you have an astigmatism, maybe run the measurement a couple times to be safe but overall it's surprisingly accurate.
