About this app
This app is used together with the Practica Foundation Volterra device, which can be used to perform Vertical Electrical Soundings (VES). The app fully controls the device through a bluetooth connection. Functionality includes setting power levels and pulse duration, automated data quality checks, data retrieval from the device, and full data analysis. It supports both resistivity and induced polarisation measurements.
The app can be used on its own, or in combination with the Driller's Toolbox app. In the Driller's Toolbox app, a complete VES measurement can be defined, including method (Wenner or Schlumberger), and an array of spacings. The Driller's Toolbox app has a direct link with the Volterra app.
