With ReWord, you get a dedicated system and will memorize new Chinese words without much effort on your part.

• 5000 words vocabulary. Thousands of Chinese words and phrases divided into thematic categories, including HSK levels 1-6. Choose the category you want to learn this time and change it whenever you want.
• Add your own words and categories easily: you can create your own word base you want to master first.
• Handy Chinese flashcards with pictures and example sentences: helpful mental shortcuts to build your vocabulary and understand the nuances of word meaning and how these words are used in real practice.
• Spaced repetitions really work: ReWord has a science-based approach to memorizing foreign words so you can learn languages at the highest efficiency.

AWESOME vocab app & easy to use! Very effective, so I got the premium version. Word repetition is based on how often I get the word incorrect. I learn 10 new words a day & review all learned words several times a day. It was irritating vocab is only in English & Hanzi (no pinyin), but I find I'm learning characters easier without pinyin. It's a vocab app! Don't expect examples of how to apply the vocab in conversation. Wish there was an app like this to learn/practice vocab in conversation.

There's no clarification, distinction, or option shown for traditional or simplified script. I'm living in Taiwan, and need to learn traditional. Your app doesn't say or show that it's traditional. Learning simplified script would be counterproductive.

Hello! The app uses built-in Text To Speech from your phone. Please ensure that you have installed corresponding TTS voice in your system accessibility settings.

What's new

This update significantly improves the way words are memorized and reviewed. Now you can memorize and review words in different directions:
• Recall translation into your first language;
• Recall the Chinese word;
• Recall both Chinese words and translations (twice as many flashcards);
• Recall in one random direction.
