WHAT IT DOES
FireTag is a private, offline-first log for fire-extinguisher service technicians who keep their own NFPA 10 inspection and maintenance records.

• Scan a QR or barcode label to open that extinguisher's history in one tap
• Record monthly visual inspections with a checklist and the date
• Record annual maintenance, 6-year internal exams, and hydrostatic tests
• Capture cylinder type, size, rating, serial number, and location
• See next-due dates computed for every cadence, with a what's-due worklist
• Group extinguishers by customer site and run a route
• Attach photos of the gauge, tag, or damage
• Generate a posted service-tag image to leave on the cylinder
• Export a route or per-unit history PDF for the file and the inspector
• Keep your own records on your own device

Sites, extinguishers, and service history are stored on your device. FireTag is a record-keeping tool, not a certification or inspection service, and does not guarantee that any extinguisher or record meets NFPA 10, OSHA, or your local authority's requirements. Verify all dates and intervals against the current edition of NFPA 10 and your authority having jurisdiction.

Neuerungen

Back up your log and move it to another phone.

Settings now has Back up log, which saves every site, extinguisher, service record, signature and tag into one file, and Restore from backup to load that file onto another device. Records merge by ID, so nothing already on the phone is deleted. Photos are optional, so the file stays small enough to email.

Also fixed: a fast double tap on a photo button could close the app, and a few screens could close twice.
