AquaProof is an offline logbook for commercial pools and spas, built for
certified pool operators and aquatic facility teams. Record each scheduled water
test, get the dose for the product you actually keep on the shelf, and export a
dated ledger for a health department inspection.
WHAT IT DOES
• Log a test in about thirty seconds. Free chlorine, total chlorine, pH,
alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid, water temperature, flow rate and
whether the main drain is visible. Combined chlorine is worked out from the two
chlorine readings, so you do not have to.
• Every reading is checked as you type against the limits in force for that body
of water, and the field colours itself: in range, drifting, or out of range.
• The saturation index dial shows whether the water is corrosive, balanced or
scale forming, with each factor listed so you can cross-check it against your
own wheel.
• Dosage is calculated from the actual volume of that pool and the strength of
the product you keep on the shelf. Liquid chlorine at 12.5 or 10 percent,
cal-hypo, dichlor, trichlor, muriatic acid, dry acid, soda ash, bicarbonate,
calcium chloride and stabiliser. Stabilised chlorine tells you how much cyanuric
acid it will add before you open the drum.
• Doses come in the order an operator actually works: alkalinity first because
it is the buffer, then pH, then calcium hardness, then sanitiser.
• A separate log for every body of water on the site: main pool, spa, kids
wader, lap pool, each with its own volume, sanitiser and limits.
• Limits default to CDC Model Aquatic Health Code or PWTAG guidance, and the
chlorine and pH bands are overridable per pool where your health department
enforces something different.
• A daily testing rota you set. AquaProof shows which slots are logged, due now
or missed, and reminds you at each one.
• Fecal incident response built to the CDC protocol. Pick the incident type and
the concentration you are holding at, and the contact time is derived from the
published CT value rather than read off a fixed table, so an unlisted
concentration still gives a correct hold. The timer runs in the background.
• Cyanuric acid above 15 ppm blocks a hyperchlorination hold until you record a
written reason, because stabiliser extends the contact time well beyond the
published CT.
• Health department PDF ledger for any period: a cover page with the site,
permit number, operating limits and operator, then a dated grid of every test
with initials, and signature lines for you and the inspector.
• Days with no recorded test are printed on the ledger rather than hidden. A gap
you know about is one you can explain.
• Readings titrated weekly rather than every visit, such as alkalinity and
calcium hardness, carry forward into the index and are labelled as carried
forward, so you always know which numbers came from today's kit.
• Log the automatic controller reading alongside the manual test and a probe
drifting out of calibration shows up early.
• Works offline. Your records stay on your device.
WHO IT'S FOR
Certified Pool Operators (CPO), hotel and motel maintenance directors, HOA
property managers, health club and aquatic centre technicians. Anyone who has to produce
a legible daily chemical record when an inspector walks in, and is doing it on a
clipboard that lives next to a chlorinated pool.
WHAT IT IS NOT
AquaProof does not connect to controllers, dosing pumps or probes. It records
what you measured and what you added: a logbook and a calculator, not a control
system.
AquaProof is a professional record-keeping and water-balance calculation tool.
It reduces operational overhead and assists with compliance logging but does not
substitute for certified on-site manual water testing or statutory public health
authority inspections. The operating limits it ships with are published guidance
figures, shipped as editable defaults; check them against the code enforced at
your site.
