The "No-Repair" Experience: Stop fighting aggressive auto-correct. SpeedKee offers a seamless experience where you stay in control. By using intentional triggers—like long-pressing a key—your shortcuts expand exactly how you want them, every time. No "suggestions" or "corrections" to fix.  


Total Privacy & Security: Built for users who demand safety, SpeedKee requires zero internet permissions. Your data never leaves your device. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no cloud logging. It is a completely offline tool.  


Voice Dictation Privacy: SpeedKee does not record or "listen" to you. When you use the voice shortcut, the app hands off to Google Dictate, which returns only the text. SpeedKee never has access to your actual voice or audio files.  


Setting up Voice: Ensure Google Voice Typing is enabled in Android Settings, then define your trigger: ? → %voice. Long-pressing ? starts dictation anywhere you are typing.  


Text expansions (also known as keyboard shortcuts or AutoText) allow you to quickly insert frequently typed text such as date stamps and common phrases.  


By default, the first three shortcuts are: .d → current date | .t → current time | .dt → current date and time  


Useful if you need: • Text expansion for faster typing 


• Text replacement for frequently used words

• Backing up or transferring your shortcut pairs 


• Batch-editing or creating shortcuts on a desktop before importing 



Simply define your shortcuts. For example: hay → How are you? Every time you type “hay” and press space, it expands automatically.
