Sharp Grid Hints is a clean, no-frills Sudoku app built around one core idea: helping you understand the logic behind every move, not just filling in numbers for you.

The puzzle board is a standard 9x9 Sudoku grid with four difficulty levels — Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Each puzzle is generated locally on your device, so you never need an internet connection to play.

The hint system is where the app sets itself apart. Instead of simply revealing an answer, it walks you through the reasoning step by step. You see which cells were considered, what rule was applied, and why that number belongs in that position. It works for both straightforward singles and more complex techniques, making it useful whether you are just learning Sudoku or trying to sharpen your advanced solving skills.

Other features include conflict highlighting to flag duplicate entries, note-taking mode to mark candidate numbers in a cell, and undo support so you can backtrack freely. Your progress is saved automatically, and you can resume any puzzle exactly where you left off.

The app has no accounts, no ads, and nothing stored outside your device. All settings — including font size and haptic feedback — are saved locally. Everything works offline, all the time.
