Ratings and reviews

The app was pretty solid, but the UI keeps messing up; send button goes missing, bottom navigation bar goes missing, sometimes the emoji window stays persistently, and the button for messages keeps getting moved around. Personally, I preferred it on the bottom since it's easier to access, but just pick one design and stick with it. Also, sharing from 3rd party apps often results in discord not loading its share UI and instead stays on a blank screen with the logo. Overall, very frustrating.

There's a bug where opening a notification does not bring me to that server that it came from. The app just opens where I last left it. It still does this, and when it happens it also completely bugs out the UI. Everything is zoomed in, images are cropped weird, and the keyboard doesn't appear properly. When that bug isn't happening, the UI in general is just extremely buggy. I sometimes can't swipe into the chat from the channel list Reinstalling the app and restarting my phone doesn't fix it

Discord has been getting progressively worse with every update. The new UI is awful and difficult to navigate, it's riddled with bugs, gifs constantly make it stutter and freeze up completely. It's hard to leave calls in the mobile app, and its overall completely worse than it was originally. I used to think it was 4 or 5 stars, but now I would give it zero if I could. Maybe fix the bugs, and give back the option for the original UI and that would change.
