We use the microphone from your headphones to extract your breathing frequency while you run. This enables you to track your breathing over time.
You will be able to see how your breathing changes over several runs and can compare each run to how you normally breath. Additionally, you have the option to perform a graded run and receive an estimate of your personal lactate threshold, which you can use to plan your training.
