MileProof is a private, on-device mileage logbook for self-employed drivers who need an accurate, audit-ready record of their business miles at tax time.
Your drives and locations stay on your phone. There is no account and no sign-in, and your route history is never uploaded to us.
LOCATION AND BACKGROUND USE
MileProof collects location data to record the distance and route of your drives for your mileage log. This includes collecting location in the background, when the app is closed or not in use, so a drive that starts when your car's Bluetooth connects is recorded from beginning to end. Automatic capture stays off until you turn it on, your location data stays on this device, and you can turn it off at any time.
WHAT IT DOES
- Records your drives automatically. Connect your car's Bluetooth and MileProof captures each drive in the background, then stops when you park.
- Log drives by hand or backfill a missed trip with a past date and distance, so nothing gets lost.
- Sorts business from personal. Tag each drive, or set rules (a regular route or your work hours) so drives classify themselves.
- Shows your deduction as you go. MileProof totals your business miles and estimates the deduction using IRS or HMRC rates you can edit.
- Handles multiple vehicles, saved places, and reusable purposes and clients.
- Exports an IRS / HMRC-ready PDF report and a CSV of every drive.
- Encrypted backup and one-tap restore, so a lost phone never means a lost record.
- Works fully offline, in light or dark, on phones and tablets, in your language.
