Do you believe that your nutrition should be healthy and limit the number of harmful food additives? Do you want to uncover E numbers that a food product may contain by simply scanning ingredients written in its description? Do you want to easily find information on additives by searching the E numbers database?
We present to you Addeatives. Simply scan food ingredients written in the description and our e numbers app should provide you with information on how harmful the product may be to your health, as measured by the e additives it contains (if any). Moreover, get information on 366 additives that are available in our E numbers database.
This app intends to increase awareness among people about e additives, how harmful may some of the products that we consume every day be. Imagine you are in a supermarket while considering buying a tasty strawberry yogurt. But, after starting to read ingredients it contains, you bump into “hieroglyphs” something like these: E127 or E400. Are they harmful?
Not all food additives, or in other words E numbers, are harmful. Some of them are simply vitamins, while others are synthetic substances that are dangerous if consumed in large quantities.

Use our app at home, at the supermarket, at work, etc. even without an Internet connection.
● Scan food ingredients
Our food additives scanner should tell you what additives a product contains (if any), plus you would be able to see the scale of how harmful or not the product can be to your health.
● Save results
You don’t need to scan the same product several times. If additives are found by our scanner, then simply save the result into “My List” and then quickly refer to it next time you would like to.
● Search
We have a built-in database of E numbers. Hence, if you would like to get information on specific additives, simply search our E additives list.
● Information: each food additive in our database is described in categories.
Status: safe, forbidden, dangerous, etc.
Function: food coloring, sweetener, preservative, emulsifier, antioxidant, stabilizer, PH regulator, flavour.
Info: e.g.. prevents the growth of microbes.
Notice: e.g.. allergic reactions possible, mainly affecting the skin.
