Ask a question in plain language and get a clear answer drawn from the book in front of you, complete with sources you can tap to jump straight to the exact page, whether you are asking a single book or your entire library. Select any sentence, paragraph, figure, or region of the page and tap Explain, and Krixo reads the surrounding context to explain it simply, so even dense or technical material finally makes sense.

Everything you capture stays with you. Highlight in four colors, write notes, or scribble and draw right on the page with your finger or a stylus, capture a figure as a screenshot, or dictate a note with your voice, and it all collects, book by book, in your Notebook. Search across every book at once with fast semantic and keyword search that finds ideas by meaning, not just exact words, then tap a result to open the exact passage. Krixo also builds a living map of the concepts and vocabulary you meet, organized by book and chapter, so you can always see what you are learning.

To help it stick, Krixo turns your highlights and notes into quizzes and uses proven spaced repetition to bring each card back right when you are about to forget it, so you study less and remember more. Prefer to listen? It reads your books aloud with natural narration, a voice you choose, and adjustable speed, perfect for commutes, walks, or resting your eyes. Tap any word for an instant definition or send it to a dictionary, Google, or Wikipedia without leaving the page, and your vocabulary list grows as you read.

Your books open fast and read fully offline once they are on your device, while your highlights, notes, vocabulary, and reading progress sync in the background so you can switch phone or tablet and pick up right where you left off, and you can back up your book files to your own Google Drive. Read in the theme that suits you, from White and Sepia to Lime, Aurora, and Onyx dark, in books across many languages. Import PDF and EPUB files, and Word documents and plain text are converted automatically so you can read and annotate them too.
