The NoolReader app for the Android phones enables users to read Tamil books, Tamil stories, Tamil novels in a single app in Tamil(தமிழ்) Language, one of the major Indian languages, English and other Indian languages like Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu etc., in a simple and easy to use interface. You can read some books for free and also purchase books that you like from a selection of books and can access the purchased books across multiple devices.

The main features of NoolReader include:

1. Access to a multiple range of free Tamil books, Tamil stories, Tamil novels, English and other Indian languages in PDF, ePub and Text formats.
2 .Option for Simple and Advanced Search to locate interesting books by Title, Author, Category.
3. Ability to shop for a variety of books, including novels etc.,
4. Download and read free book samples for all books.
5. Option to change the font size for optimal reading experience
6. Turning pages back and forth with animation by flicking or tapping on either side of the screen
7. Ability to organise one's library into user-defined shelves for convenience
8. Option to search for books within one's own collection of free and purchased books
9. Ability to delete books from the device at any time and re-download them later at any time for free
10. Option to add books into favourite booklist
11. Ability to rate the books.
