Ratings and reviews

I find this app lacking. It presents you vocabulary, but doesn't present many ways to practice using the vocabulary in a practical manner. The app needs more built in tests for that. Some of the tests they do have require an ability beyond what's been taught. The app also doesn't explain grammatical structures, instead relying on your pattern recognition. There should be clear explanations to ensure proper understanding. It is nice that you can interact with other users to practice though.

Decent; it's fast paced and helps you learn worlds and phrases quickly. However, because of that fast nature, it's sometimes hard to recall certain words and phrases. Other language apps reinforce their teachings more than Busuu, but this app is better for learning faster, which is beneficial. I like that it also has communities and tools that you can utilize to learn faster. Overall, it's not as complete as an app like Duolingo, but it's still good for learning a language nonetheless.

I absolutely love the learning tips it gives. like for Russian and Spanish, it tells you when to change the word when it's singular (masculine and feminine) and plural. it helps out tremendously. This way, you're not hopelessly thinking why there are multiple ways to say man. Russian is a little bit harder than you think.
