Bu ilova haqida

For patients undergoing head and neck cancer treatment. Follow a customized therapy regimen designed to improve swallow outcomes through videos and tutorials focused on jaw and swallow exercises, nutrition, empowerment, and connection with your support system.
HNC Virtual Coach is meant to accompany a patient’s treatment plan and manage participant recovery over a 7-week period.

Why HNC Virtual Coach?
Follow free videos led by Heather Starmer, Director of the Stanford Head and Neck Cancer Speech and Swallowing Rehabilitation Center. Follow along with Heather to complete your prescribed swallow and jaw exercise regimen.
Track your completion of daily swallow and jaw exercises through a guided daily challenge. The intensity of each exercise is based on your symptoms to ensure the program is meeting your needs, abilities, and preferences.

Enable daily reminders to keep you on track and accountable to the therapy regimen.
All challenges are self-paced.
While the customized therapy regimen is meant to last for 7 weeks, you’ll have the option to extend and use this program through the duration of treatment and beyond.
The HNC Virtual Coach app will guide you in choosing a recovery path that is best for you.
