Optional Chrome cashback alerts — AccessibilityService API

ProductLab uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to read the website address visible in regular Chrome. This lets us recognize participating stores and show cashback offer notifications while you browse.

Data we collect and why:

- Web browsing history: Website domains and page paths you visit, including non-partner sites, to detect cashback offers and analyze browsing and feature use.

- Personal identifiers: Your ProductLab account ID, to link browsing and cashback activity to your account.

- Device or other identifiers: An app installation ID, to identify this installation and manage its cashback session.

- Page views and taps in app: Page visits, cashback setup actions, and notification taps, dismissals and activations, to provide cashback and measure feature use.

While enabled, this data is sent to ProductLab’s servers and stored with your account, including when ProductLab is in the background. We use it to provide and promote cashback offers and analyze feature use. Activating an offer may share a click identifier with the affiliate partner to attribute cashback.

We exclude Incognito browsing, page contents, URL query strings and fragments. You choose whether to activate each offer.

This is optional. Choose “Not now” to continue using ProductLab without Chrome cashback. Turn off Chrome cashback alerts in ProductLab to stop collection.

Ratings and reviews

I've been using product lab for probably over a year now, and it's great if you are in the gig economy! (Doordash and instacart.) You get paid just by sending them a screenshot of the previous work weeks earnings and you get money! Even if you're only doing one delivery of each app! A little extra cash like 40 bucks a month can't go wrong with that!

Been stuck on "We are reviewing your recent activity and you'll be able to cash out soon" for almost a week now. So far, the only thing I've liked so far is that the surveys haven't felt so excruciatingly dragged out as they have been in other apps, and I seem to qualify for more of them here and get to fully complete/get credited more consistently as well. I'll bump my 2 stars up to 5 if I can ever move past the activity reviewing phase.

This app is okay with the amount of surveys they offer. I haven't seen more than 5 surveys a day except 2x. What I hate is this is the only app I have done this time off work for that charges me to withdrawal my funds. Also the rate increases depending on how much you withdrawal. So withdrawal at the minimum to avoid getting charged more. Really hate that I'm charged in order to receive access to the funds I did the work for.
