I love the concept and fusion of AI with pool. i am a big fan of recording practice sessions but not a fan of watching hours of practice. Railbird records sessions, tracks made/ missed shots and condenses the recordings to minutes, eliminating all the time in between shots. The technology is not 100% accurate yet but possibilities are endless.

I have been using the app since mid-December and overall enjoying it. It does sometimes show a shot made when the shot actually missed. I like to analize the shoots i missed to see what in my mechanics was off. I sometimes twist the cue as I hit the ball! I never knew I was doing it. Also, I see how I raise my head as I stroke the ball causing it to go off course. It is very valuable for me trying to improve my accuracy.

The app has potential. Data could be much improved, recording uploads process sometimes not all of it, shot accuracy, and drills could be more informative to do. Sounds bad but it's not because shot recording is good, seeing your own data can be humbling, and you can view other players public recordings as well.
