Some news articles suddenly change when you open them to scrolling text over background pictures....highly annoying and confusing to read. Also, I have selected dark mode as it's easier on my eyes but in this 'fancy' format the text is black and the background white. I don't bother reading these articles. Why glam up the news? Just give it to us in a simple easy to read format please. On the positive side, it doesn't keep jumping to the top after exiting an article..thanks for fixing that. 🙂

Since the last update, when you finish reading one story and press back, the app takes you back to the top of the list of news articles instead of where you were on the list before clicking onto the article you had just read. In other words, your search of the day's stories is reset each time you have finished reading one. Very frustrating to have to keep scrolling down through previously read stories to look at the next one in line. Please fix this. 🥹

The app is OK though it never seems to be logged in when I want to bookmark something. The falling standards of editing & increased bias that you find in the content is another matter. Add to that trash click-bait articles & you have to worry that Aunty's entering a terminal decline.
