CiaoSpeak teaches Taiwanese Chinese (zh-TW) — the real, everyday
Mandarin spoken in Taiwan, with Traditional Chinese characters and
Zhuyin, not a generic mainland-standard course. An AI teacher actually
leads the lesson, instead of handing you a blank chat box.
Every lesson is free. Always. Nothing you can do for free today gets
taken away later.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• A proactive AI conversation partner. It runs real short scenarios
(ordering bubble tea, asking directions, talking about your weekend),
introduces vocabulary as you go, and reviews past mistakes on its own.
Reply by typing, tapping a suggested phrase, or speaking — tap-to-
translate explains any line you don't understand.
• Structured lessons, not open-ended chat. A real curriculum takes you
from your first "hello" through everyday vocabulary, grammar, and
full sentences, loosely aligned to TOCFL levels, with a placement quiz
so returning learners can skip ahead.
• Stories: a growing library of leveled dialogues, articles, and
chapter series, from absolute-beginner to intermediate. Tap any word
for an instant gloss, and answer built-in comprehension questions as
you read.
