Spoke FM is a podcast player for people who want their listening app to stay understandable.

It is built around a library on your device. You choose the shows, manage your queue, download episodes for offline listening, and keep your subscriptions portable with OPML import and export.

Spoke FM does not require an account, a social profile, or a recommendation feed. It focuses on the basics: finding podcasts, subscribing through RSS, keeping track of playback, and making episodes available when you are away from a reliable connection.

You can search the open Podcast Index catalog, add direct RSS feeds, preview custom feeds before subscribing, and share episodes with short links. Playback tools include speed control, intro and outro skipping, silence removal, and voice enhancement.

Your subscriptions, queue, playback progress, downloads, and most player state stay on your device. Network access is used when needed for things like feed updates, search, streaming, downloads and sharing.
