About this app

Idyno is an Arabic number book that tells you who is calling before you answer.

A name appears while your phone rings, unwanted callers get blocked, and any number can be
looked up in seconds. Arabic and English both built properly — the whole interface flips
direction, not a translation pasted onto an English layout.

WHO IS CALLING — ANSWERED WHILE IT RINGS
Idyno identifies incoming calls the moment they arrive and can automatically block callers
our database has confirmed as spam. An identity card appears over the incoming call screen
with the name, and you decide whether to pick up.

WE DO NOT READ YOUR CALL LOG
This matters more than it sounds. Idyno uses Android's CallScreeningService, which hands us
the number at the ring — all we need. We never request the call log
permission, and it is stripped from our manifest so no library can add it. Idyno builds
its own history from the calls it identifies for you.

TYPE A NUMBER ANY WAY YOU LIKE
0512345678, [phone], 00966512345678, with spaces, dashes, brackets, or Arabic-Indic
digits — every one gives the same result. Idyno detects your country from your SIM before the
first screen appears, so you never start by choosing.

EVERY RECORDED NAME, IN ONE LIST
A number is often saved under several names. Subscribers see them all, with how many people recorded each; a free search shows the top name. We never show who uploaded a name:
that stays in our internal systems behind an audit log, for compliance and abuse prevention
only.

DELETE YOUR NUMBER — FREE, INSTANT, NO ACCOUNT
Open the Privacy tab, send the prepared WhatsApp message, then return to see
exactly what we hold. Then delete it — automatically, in under a minute, with no
human approval and no fee. The number enters a permanent list that keeps it out even if
others upload it later. You can also hide it, or correct the name. No app needed:
idyno.app/en/delete-my-number does the same.

NO ADS.
There is no advertising library anywhere in this app — a product decision we do not
intend to revisit. We do not sell or rent your data.

HOW THE DATABASE IS BUILT
Idyno runs on what its users contribute, as every caller ID service does. Manual lookup
asks you to share your address book first. Sharing is your choice, and we commit to three
things: what you share is never published or attributed to you, we never message your
contacts, and you can delete it any time.

The requirement never applies to caller identification, blocking, deletion, or the privacy
centre. Those are open to everyone, always, unconditionally.

PERMISSIONS, AND WHY
- Contacts: only to upload your address book after you explicitly tap to share. Refusing it
leaves every other feature working.
- Display over other apps: only to show the caller ID card while your phone rings. A
switch in Settings, off until you turn it on.
- We do NOT use: call log, SMS, location, camera, microphone, storage, or the ability to
place a call for you. The Call button opens the dialler; the last tap is yours.

YOUR DATA STAYS IN YOUR REGION
Your data is stored and processed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Your region is set once
from your number's country code, and your personal data never leaves it.

PRICING
The first month is a free trial from Google Play: fully free, one per Google Account, cancel
any time, and your card is not charged before it ends. After that a small yearly subscription,
priced for your country, unlocks unlimited search and caller ID; without one you get three
searches a month. Deleting your number, the privacy centre and spam reports are always free.
No ads either way.

BUILT FOR ARABIC PROPERLY
Full right-to-left layout, not mirrored text on a left-to-right screen. Latin digits in phone
fields in both languages. Instant language switching inside the app. Screen reader,
larger text, higher contrast and reduced motion are supported and tested, not assumed.
