About this app

NoteTag turns any barcode or QR code into a rich, updatable note. Free to use.

No printer needed. Every product in your home already has a barcode. Cut one from the packaging, tape it to a container, and scan it with NoteTag. Write the expiry date, the contents, a recipe — whatever matters. You just made a smart label from something you would have thrown away.

The tag is reusable forever. Refill the container with something different? Just update the note. One tag, infinite updates — never peel off a label and replace it again.

REUSABLE TAGS
Change what is in the container, update the note. The same barcode serves you forever — rice this month, quinoa next month. No reprinting, no peeling, no replacing.

RICH NOTES
Headings, bold, lists, images, checklists. Write a recipe, track an expiry date, snap a photo of the original packaging — all inside one note.

SHARED SPACES
Invite your household or team to a Space. Everyone scans the same tags and sees the same notes. One person organizes, everyone benefits.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your notes are visible only to people in your Space. Someone scanning the same barcode with a normal scanner sees the original product info — not your notes.

WORKS OFFLINE
Write and edit notes without a connection. Everything syncs when you are back online.

USE IT EVERYWHERE
- Kitchen and pantry: expiry dates, contents, and allergens on every container
- Freezer: what is inside and when you froze it — no more mystery bags
- Family recipes: stick a QR tag in your cookbook — your recipe is one scan away
- Workshop: which bin has the M3 screws? Scan the barcode. Now you know
- Storage and moving boxes: tag every box once, update as things change
- Shared household: pet feeding schedules, plant care, medication info

Want dedicated tags? Print a free sheet of QR stickers at notetag.app/print.

The tag stays. The information changes. That is NoteTag.
