Permissions & privacy

Pentastic only requests permissions necessary for optional features. By default all data is stored locally on your device. The code is available on Github under AGPL v3.0 license. No ads, no analytics, no third‑party tracking.

Getting started

1. Create a list (e.g., Today, Shopping, Reminders).
2. Tap the + button or use the quick entry field to add tasks.
3. Reorder by dragging, mark complete with a double tap and see more options with a single tap.

Ratings and reviews

I have given it 4 stars but it may deserve 5, the problem I have encountered is only when I have a full page note. When I try to read that note the menu box always opens and obscures most of the note. It works ok for short notes. Am I doing something wrong?

I need the ability to change header font color... also would like a small habit tracker. A page with list of activities to crossout which resets daily. New entry orderimg is annoying - I always entry my most important tasks first and they go to the bottom. Let us change the ordering of new entries.

I got attracted to Pentastic because of its offline and privacy focused approach. I stayed because it is a sweet, little, wonderful tool that works in a charming manner making the task of laying out and tackling tasks a fun experience. This makes me want to open it, add something, edit something, mark something as completed, rather than be unsure, unwilling or uninterested! A tool you love to open makes even tedious tasks joyful! Pentastic does that and more!
