Ashabi Shobande Kokumo Foundation aka (A.S.K Foundation)
A.S.K Foundation is a community-based charity initiative powered by our decentralized platform using Community Based Selection Protocol (CBSPro) to determine beneficiaries. This makes charity accessible to vulnerable members of society without gatekeepers.
The ASK app is a mobile platform designed to bring convenience to individuals in society desiring support from the foundation. The app enables users to:
- Register to ask for support
- ASK for help
- Share your request across other social media platforms to mobilize for nominations
- Support others through nominations or donations
- View information about foundation's activities, including beneficiaries, benefactors, and other basic details.
With the ASK app:
- Users can register using their email or Google account with minimal requirements. (Only adults are qualified to make requests)
- Make requests
- Nominate requests on a daily basis (all users have equal daily nomination quota (DNQ), but donors get quota boost relative to their donations)
- Users desiring to make requests are required to complete Level Two verification. This involves submitting their details, which will be used solely to process grants when selected. During Level Two verification, it's very important for the selfie to be clear, fully capturing the face without any obstruction or evasion.
- The app includes a reward system for members actively nominating others.
- Users can track their consistency statistics and other necessary information.
This is the initial mobile release of the ASK app, complementing the existing web app on https://askfoundations.org
