Accessibility Service Usage

Reclaim uses Android's AccessibilityService API to provide its core app-blocking functionality.

When enabled by the user, AccessibilityService allows Reclaim to:

• Detect when user-selected blocked apps are opened.
• Restrict access to blocked apps during active focus sessions.
• Help enforce focus sessions configured by the user.

AccessibilityService is used solely for these productivity features. Reclaim does not use AccessibilityService to collect personal information, read personal messages, record audio, capture keystrokes, or monitor activity unrelated to app-blocking functionality.

Accessibility permission is optional, requires explicit user consent, and can be disabled at any time through Android Settings.

Reclaim requires AccessibilityService to provide app-blocking functionality. Without this permission enabled, blocked apps cannot be restricted during focus sessions.
