You drive all week, open the app on Sunday, and half your trips aren't there. That's the complaint that fills the reviews of most mileage apps.
We built this around a different trigger.
🔵 THE TRIP STARTS WHEN YOUR CAR DOES
Pair the app with your car's Bluetooth and recording begins the moment your phone connects — not when GPS eventually works out you're moving. Fewer lost first miles, and far less constant GPS polling in the background. On iPhone, Apple doesn't give apps access to car Bluetooth, so setup runs through a Shortcuts automation or an iBeacon instead. Both are supported, and a beacon is optional — we don't sell one.
🚗 IT KNOWS WHICH CAR YOU'RE IN
Give each vehicle its own Bluetooth connection and the app works out for itself whether you took the work van or the family car. No switching profiles before you set off. One vehicle is free; keeping several is part of Premium.
✋ CLASSIFY WITH A SWIPE
Swipe each trip to business, commute or personal. After a few weeks the app suggests the right category based on your own history, so a week's admin takes seconds rather than an evening.
📍 ROUTE AND ADDRESSES FILLED IN
Every trip appears on a map with start and end address, distance, date and time already completed. Add the odometer readings and the record is finished. Nothing to type up afterwards.
📄 REPORTS YOUR ACCOUNTANT CAN ACTUALLY USE
Excel export is free — even if you never pay us anything. PDF export is part of Premium. Each record holds the date, start and end address, odometer readings, distance, route and classification: the details HMRC, Revenue, the IRS and the CRA ask you to keep in a mileage log. We won't claim a tax authority has approved this app; no app can honestly say that. What we can say is that your log holds what they ask for.
🌍 BUILT FOR MORE THAN ONE TAX SYSTEM
• United Kingdom — HMRC's mileage rate bands, with a higher rate for the first 10,000 business miles and a lower one above that, on a tax year that runs 6 April to 5 April rather than January.
• United States — the IRS standard mileage rate, with the date, distance and business purpose the IRS expects you to keep for every trip.
• Canada — CRA per-kilometre rates, including the lower rate after the first 5,000 km.
• Ireland — Civil Service motor travel rates by engine size and distance band for employees and directors, plus a business-use share of your total kilometres if you're a sole trader claiming actual running costs.
Rates are held per country in the app and updated when they change. 15 countries and 9 languages in total. Miles or kilometres, your choice.
📊 SEE WHAT IT'S ACTUALLY WORTH
A weekly or monthly summary tells you how far you drove for business and what that comes to at the rate set for your country.
WHAT IT COSTS — NO GAMES
Free: unlimited manual entries, automatic detection for up to 20 trips a month, Excel export, one vehicle.
Premium: one monthly price or one yearly price, both shown on this page in your own currency before you install. Unlimited automatic trips, PDF export, multiple vehicles, cloud backup and sync.
No trial that quietly becomes a subscription, and no "contact us for pricing".
🔒 YOUR ROUTES ARE NOT THE PRODUCT
Your trips are kept on your phone. Turn on cloud backup and sync (Premium) and the copy is stored in the Netherlands and the EU under GDPR. We don't sell your data and we don't hand it to advertisers or insurers. Backup also means a lost phone doesn't cost you years of records — which matters when you're expected to keep them for years.
QUESTIONS?
There's a contact form inside the app with a full message history, so you can see what you asked and what we said back. A person answers, not an auto-responder.
Built by a small independent team in the Netherlands.
Automatic detection needs background location and Bluetooth permission. Continuous GPS use affects battery life in any app — reducing it is exactly why the Bluetooth trigger exists.
