Sequester gives you a private place to store sensitive photos and videos away from your ordinary gallery. Your media is protected behind secure account access and a personal PIN, with encrypted cloud backup designed to help keep your files available if your phone is lost, damaged, replaced, or reset.

PRIVATE PHOTO AND VIDEO VAULT

Import and securely store private photos and videos inside your personal Sequester vault. Your protected media stays separate from your normal device gallery and is available only after authentication.

ENCRYPTED CLOUD BACKUP

Back up selected photos and videos to encrypted cloud storage. Sequester helps protect your private media from device loss, accidental deletion, phone damage, or replacement. You control what is uploaded, and you retain ownership of your content.

PIN-PROTECTED ACCESS

Protect your vault with a personal access PIN for an added layer of privacy beyond your device lock.

DECOY VAULT

Set a separate decoy PIN that opens an alternate folder instead of your real private vault. The decoy vault can contain ordinary or harmless content, helping protect your primary vault if someone pressures you to open the app.

INTRUSION DETECTION

Sequester can help identify unauthorized access attempts. When someone enters an incorrect PIN, the app can record details about the attempt and, where enabled and permitted, capture an intrusion photo using the device camera.

INTRUSION ALERTS

Receive alerts when suspicious access attempts occur. Alerts may include:

• Date and time of the attempt
• Failed PIN activity
• Login or device information
• Approximate login location based on network information
• An intrusion image, where enabled and available

LOGIN ALERTS

Sequester can notify you when your account is accessed or when unusual login activity is detected. These alerts can help you recognize access from unfamiliar devices, locations, or networks and take action quickly.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Sequester is not a public gallery, social network, or content discovery platform. Your vault is personal to your account. There are no public profiles, follower counts, public media feeds, or public browsing of your stored content.

USER-CONTROLLED DELETION

Delete individual photos and videos without deleting your entire account. Sequester also provides an account deletion process for users who want to remove their account and associated stored data, subject to applicable legal, security, backup, and compliance requirements.

SECURE ACCOUNT ACCESS

Sequester uses secure authentication and token-based sessions to help protect your account. Your email address is used for account access, password recovery, security notifications, and login alerts.
