About this app

Lens Finder helps you locate a hidden camera lens with your own eyes. A lens is curved glass, and glass bounces light straight back toward its source. Sweep a room with your phone's flashlight and camera, and Lens Finder highlights the tiny, sharp glints that stay put while everything else moves, so you know exactly where to look. If you need a spy cam finder for a hotel room, Airbnb, bathroom or fitting room, this is the optical approach, built around the lens itself.

BUILT AROUND THE LENS VIEW
- Flash-reflection mode: turn on the flash, move slowly and watch the live view. Lens Finder marks small, bright points that remain steady while the scene changes, which is how a lens tends to behave.
- Infrared view: some night-vision cameras emit IR light that a phone camera can sometimes show as a faint glow. Switch to IR mode and scan dark corners and device edges.
- Scan routes: slow sweeps through the places lenses hide, such as smoke detectors, clocks, speakers, USB chargers, plants, shelves and picture frames.
- Mark and compare: note a suspicious glint, then re-check it from another angle. A real lens keeps reflecting; a shiny screw or sticker usually does not.
- Saved scans: keep each mark so you can return to it later.

SUPPORTING CLUES
- Magnetic field meter: shows magnetic changes near electronics, so you know which object deserves a closer look. Metal and speakers also trigger it.
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi quick check: lists nearby trackers (AirTag, SmartTag, Tile) and network devices that look like IP cameras. Read-only; it never logs in to any device.
- Simple report: save what you found and export it as a PDF.
- Likelihood result: None found, Low, Medium or High.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Dim the room lights and open the lens view.
2. Turn on the flash and sweep slowly along shelves, outlets and corners.
3. Mark any glint that stays in the same place as you move.
4. Walk to another spot and check the mark again from a new angle.
5. Switch to IR view for dark areas, and run the quick checks if you want more clues.

TIPS FOR BETTER GLINT SPOTTING
- Work in a dim room and keep the phone steady, then move a step to the side and look again.
- Check eye level and every angle: lenses can face the bed, the shower area or a desk.
- Look at objects that do not belong: a charger with no cable, a clock facing the bed, a vent with a tiny dot.
- Cover each area twice, once with the flash and once in IR view.

WHO IT IS FOR
- Travelers checking a hotel room or rental.
- Guests who want to check a bathroom, bedroom or fitting room.
- Anyone who wants a hands-on way to find a hidden camera lens rather than a single score.

HONEST BY DESIGN
Lens Finder never says a place is "safe". Reflections also come from glossy screws, jewelry, glass and many harmless objects, so a glint is a place to look, not proof. It cannot find pinhole lenses that do not reflect well, cameras that are switched off, radio signals or microphones. Combine it with a careful visual search. If you feel unsafe, leave and contact local authorities.

PRIVACY
Camera frames are analysed on your device and never saved or uploaded. Your location is not stored. No ads. Anonymous diagnostics (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) help us fix crashes. Privacy policy: https://hiddencam.web.app/privacy

FREE AND PRO
The lens and IR views are free. Pro adds unlimited saved scans, PDF reports and unlimited history, as a monthly or yearly subscription (yearly includes a 3-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play.
