Ratings and reviews

Not great - there are lots of spam and clearly scam postings. When making a bid on a legit order, we are prevented from bidding "too low". The app makes quite a bit of fees off of these (from both the client and the tasker) and doesn't allow someone to bid significantly lower than the clients budget. So if someone can do the job for a lot less, too bad! You're gonna only get bids around your budget price. What a joke!

Airtasker needs to put the extra charges automatically when a client needs a job done, can't do a job for example a $1000 where materials will cost you $600 and then airtasker fees that starts at 21% so you end up getting $190 and airtasker gets $210. Not fair for the tasker. If a client post a job and set a budget for $1000 airtasker needs to automatically charge the client the set price plus the fees.

I've been working on airtasker for several years now with a break away due to COVID it's been a good way to get work and can and has led on to other work and then a full time position with a great crew of builders .it can be tricky with some jobs as most people do not know what they need or don't give correct information if the task that can end up with a cancellation that inturn hurts the tasker with ra. The fees can hurt but end of the day it is a business .
