The Deferit “Split bills in 4” feature is available in select states. We will inform you, based on your address, whether the “Split bills in 4” option is available to you upon onboarding. Split bills in 4 is subject to eligibility and a down payment may be required. The Credit Builder feature, Bill Savings and our bill management platform are available in all states.

Deferit charges a monthly membership fee of $14.99. No lock-ins. All payments are subject to a processing fee of $0.99.

Ratings and reviews

This is a very straight-forward platform and process. Upload your bill and they will break it up into payments. I changed banks (and debit cards) and the correction to my payment methods was really easy! There are other platforms that might lock your account during this sort of change. Customer service (via email) has always replied within 24 hours! I highly recommend this service.

I was referred to Deferit by a good friend of mine. At the time, it seemed like a great idea because I was having trouble paying bills. I was skeptical at first, but after I received the email stating that my bill had been paid, I was elated. Deferit definitely comes through in a pinch and I love the easy to use aspects of the app. I also am very appreciative of the ability to move payment dates if you need to. I will definitely be using Deferit as much as my balance will allow lol 😆

I have to pay 14.99 a month to use this service? You have lost your mind. I have 3 apps on my phone which I can split ANY purchases including bills for absolutely 0 dollars. They charge a small fee of 4.99 finance charge but that is it and y'all want 15 a month to only pay bills? That's ridiculous. No thanks. People you do realize there are way better installment apps out there right? Klarna, zip, after pay etc ... All of them do exactly the same thing WITHOUT a monthly fee.
