UPDATE - Closing this account because of $19.99 deposit with every bill. This app is helpful but it also charges .99 every time you make a payment, which is more than double dipping. They charge you a monthly fee, a fee for paying your bills, + .99 when you make your payment. I want to pay my bill off with them but it will not allow the option to pay in full because they want that .99 per payment. It's not right to gouge people who are already struggling, otherwise we wouldn't need your service.

Using Deferit has honestly been a huge relief for me during some really stressful times. There were moments when I wasn’t sure how I was going to keep up with my bills, and having the option to split payments into smaller amounts made a real difference. It gave me the breathing room I needed without feeling overwhelmed. What I appreciate most is how simple and smooth everything is. The app is easy to use, and I never felt confused or stressed trying to figure things out.

This app has saved me for going on 6 months now! I have used it for my phone bill only, but it has helped SO much! You get a $500 limit, which is very generous for a $15 a month app! They will even call the business and try to negotiate a lower price if you're unhappy with your bill. Now that is not guaranteed, but it's worth having to not talk to the company yourself and sit on hold 🤷‍♀️
