Ratings and reviews

Lidar disappears once you zoom in enough to view any usable detail. Disappointing since I was hoping for a more user friendly/speedy tool than my-land-matters which has extremely functional lidar but is, in all aspects, excruciatingly slow to load. Adding to that is I was hoping to find actual historic mines and mining areas in NW Montana not found via other venues, as well as more actually accurate locations. I've recently located several known to no web maps/records. Sadly, not here either.

An invaluable tool for all detectorists. This app provides me with so much more information on the landscape and history of my permissions, that I couldnt access before. Detector Maps has just taken detecting to a whole new level. Easy to use and transportable with my mobile phone. I can't wait to discover the lost finds still to be unearthed.

I used Detector Maps for a few month and the program worked well, but when I cancelled my subscription, which appeared easy, they kept taking money out of my account. I emailed and sent messages but they still haven't replied for refunded my money. If the take more out next month I'll have to cancel my card. There also no contact number available either to try and get it resolved.
