I do looove the concept - I am a big fan of citizen science. However, I find this app quite clunky to use. The two biggest issues I see are the inability to upload recordings that weren't made in the app and the inability to see where your uploaded recordings were actually made? So when I look back at my submitted and verified frog calls, I just have no idea where they are actually from? Which really sucks for getting an understanding of your local frog population.

Only issue I had is that I had a message saying I could not submit a recording without a profile while I was already logged in, I just logged out and back in within the app and fixed the problem. Downloaded to find out whether there was a frog in our garden or an abnormally loud cricket. Easy to use and I love the way it matches the call and location to potential species and allows you to listen to each one to see which matches your recording.

Undoubtedly one of the best apps I've come across in years. I've been hearing a bizarre noise in the yard - no idea it was a frog, until I paid some attention. A search for sound files or something on YouTube came up empty. Lo and behold... here's this wonderful app. The frog itself must be tiny, and its home appears to be in a crack at the bottom of a wall - I suppose he/she knows what they're doing, since that sound has come and gone for years.
