As the Merchant, you are the commander of your own domain!

Blending together traditional RPG systems, management mechanics, and a fantasy overworld, Merchant aims to reimagine the traditional mobile RPG. In Merchant, players take the role of a shopkeeper who must manage a team of Heroes and Crafters. Heroes are sent out on quests in order to fight enemies and gather materials. Crafters then use those materials to create weapons and armor. As the shopkeeper, players must balance their micro-economies between selling items for gold and crafting items to better ensure success for the Heroes.

Ratings and reviews

It kept me busy while I was stuck in a waiting room for three hours. I can't ask for more than that, really. Seriously, though, this is a resource management game at its core. You can't carry everything all at once, so you have to plan ahead to get what you really want. Presentation is extremely basic, basically all menus, but it works for a game like this. No stamina or anything like that, so you can keep going as long as you want. Good if you have lots of time to kill.

Very solid game. I figured id be a bit bored or overwhelmed with the menus but it manages to teach you the basics, and allows you the freedom to figure out the rest. 4 stars just because the other realms feel like some sort of roblox rebirth system. Its all the exact same setup, it just recreates the loop of grind for xp, grind for loot, and work back up the ladder. It makes your high levels feel like they're weaklings again, and that backwards progression loop is not particularly fun.

This game is an absolute delight! It's a fun game with awesome characters & enemies! Not to mention very addictive! But, unfortunately amazing games have some downsides. After a bit, it does get a little repetitive. You can find yourself playing the game for hours, then dropping it for weeks. It's a constant cycle that can't be stopped. But other than that, this game is awesome!! 4/5, would recommend if you're tryna waste time!
