Why not just text notifications as you had been previously? How much of our tax $$ went into this? I have an issue with my phone model and not receiving app notifications - not your problem, but it just seems disappointing that you don't offer simple text messages anymore which I can always count on.

After the last update, the app is duplicating each pickup date. Cleared all app data, uninstalled, rebooted phone, and reinstalled. Still duplicates in the pickup schedule, wouldn't bother me too much but I'm getting notifications for each duplicate
Works as intended; tells me garbage collection days. Haven't had issues with the app. (Haven't looked to see if there is a notification option but that would be cool to have the night before garbage/recycling day)
