Good news app, but its return to the start of an article any time I go back after looking at a picture or switch to landscape and back to portrait mode (whether deliberately or by accident). Very annoying. Also, my so-called local news feed is half full of international or national news. not sure if this is an algorithm thing, or just lazy editors of the local BC page.

This app is extremely annoying. Despite turning off all notifications the app still sends alerts. Most of the notifications are about unimportant things, not worth being interrupted for. Not recommended. Update April 2, 2020: This app is still garbage. Why don't they have a 15 second skip forward/backward feature? Sometimes you need to re-watch a few seconds of video. If you move the slider rewind to video backward you have to re-watch more advertising. 👎

Great content but I'm lowering my rating to one star because video hasn't worked for ages; I can only watch videos if I "share" the content with my browser and watch from there. Also, my phone's password manager can't distinguish between the Radio-Canada and CBC apps, making logins difficult. I contacted CBC about this and they basically told me to get lost. I found that unacceptable; they should have addressed the issue or at least explained it. The Radio-Canada app works flawlessly.
