Having land border wait times at your fingertips helps you make an informed decision about where and when to cross the border. The CanBorder app provides estimated wait times at select ports of entry in Canada and the United States. Short on time? Use the trip planner function to generate an estimated best day, time and port of entry at which to cross the border, along with turn by turn directions to get you there. The CanBorder app is a free service provided by the Canada Border Services Agency.

Ratings and reviews

Out of date. Doesn't find obvious border crossings that are closer to my location - appears to be either missing the full list or the hours of operation are messing it up. Also entering a date and time should be optional not mandatory.

App is slow and unresponsive, and most importantly doesn't have up to date crossing times for the ports... For the Peace Arch the data is a week old already and is completely unrepresentative of the current situation.

Not updated in 6 years and doesn't show the Gordie Howe International Bridge, which may soon become the busiest border crossing between Canada and the U.S.

Bug fix on the date and time inputs of the Trip Planner functionality.

The U.S Customs and Border Protection(CBP) border wait times web address has been updated to the latest available web address to retrieve CBP border wait times data.
